November 15, 1989 to perpetuate

the memories and honor the legacy

of the 129 gallant men

lost aboard USS Thresher

on April 10, 1963

 

 

 

 

  • Future Events

    Thresher Base holds six regular meetings per year on the third Saturday of the months of January, March, May, July. September & November. Additionally, Thresher Base hosts a Memorial Day service at Albacore Park as well as the Annual USS Thresher Memorial Service, held on the Saturday closest to April 10.

  • Saturday, July 30 @ 1200: Holland Club Induction Ceremony, Thresher Base & WWII SubVet Lobster Bake at Raymond E. Walton American Legion in Seabrook

    The 2016 Thresher Base & WWII SubVets Lobster Fest & Holland Club Induction Ceremony will be held at the Seabrook American Legion on July 30th, 2016 starting at noon.

     

    Join with us to honor Holland Club inductees Bob Janson and Bob Lucier.

  • Saturday, September 17 @ TBD: Submarine History Day at Albacore Park

    The September Thresher Bsae meeting will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Albcore Park, 600 Market Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Start time is TBD. Additional details will be provided when available.
