Thresher Base was chartered on

November 15, 1989 to perpetuate

the memories and honor the legacy

of the 129 gallant men

lost aboard USS Thresher

on April 10, 1963

 

 

 

 

Future Events

Thresher Base holds six regular meetings per year on the third Saturday of the months of January, March, May, July. September & November. Additionally, Thresher Base hosts a Memorial Day service at Albacore Park as well as the Annual USS Thresher Memorial Service, held on the Saturday closest to April 10.

Saturday, July 16 @ 0930: Lee, NH Semiquincentennial (250th) Parade

Join with Marblehead Base members and their award winning USS Thresher float at the Lee, NH Semiquincentennial (250th) parade.

 

Assemble at 9:30 for step off at 10:00 am.  Meet at town recycling center, 11 Recycling Center Road in the center of Lee.  Members may walk or ride in the VFW float, followed by Thresher float.

Saturday, July 30 @ 1200: Holland Club Induction Ceremony, Thresher Base & WWII SubVet Lobster Bake at Raymond E. Walton American Legion in Seabrook

The 2016 Thresher Base & WWII SubVets Lobster Fest & Holland Club Induction Ceremony will be held at the Seabrook American Legion on July 30th, 2016 starting at noon.

 

Join with us to honor Holland Club inductees Bob Janson and Bob Lucier.
